Our client based around the Birmingham aree, is an independent specialist in design and fit out providing bar, restaurant and hotel design / refurbishment. They have a vast amount of experience and an impressive portfolio of projects across the country working with some leading brands. Estimator Job Duties Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for new contractsKeep existing contracts up to date, including making amendments, providing new cost estimates, and maintaining communication with the clientAdhere to company standards and guidelines when analysing and providing estimations; focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction, while minimising any potential risks to the companyPrepare detailed, well-written proposals for each client, adhering to client guidelines while offering competitive and comprehensive cost estimates, and including supplementary documentationMaintain relationships with existing clients keeping a sales-minded attitude, and seek out and build relationships with new clientsWork with contracts manager and design team to help with development, innovation, and creativity on client projectsKeep detailed records of all estimation documentation, including site assessments and contract terms; update any existing contracts immediately upon agreement of new terms with clientPrepare and submit financial documentsBalance multiple proposals and estimations at once, ensuring each reaches the client by the deadlineLiaise with other company departments to maintain business development and continuously innovate new profitable outcomes Experience Required: Institute of Revenues Rating and Valuation (IRRV) is preferableMinimum of 4 years' experience in the shop fit hospitality / commercial fit out IndustryCustomer Service SkillsAbility to work with your own Initiative and able to read drawingsAbility to Manage Workloads within tight deadlinesExcellent Verbal and Written Communication SkillsStrong Maths SkillsValid Driver's LicenseAbility to Visit Client Sites across the UK as neededExcellent knowledge of excel Benefits: 28 holidays a year (not Inc.
