Estimator Job in Glasgow Your new company Are a specialist national subcontractor who specialise in building envelope works specifically working with Tier1 contractors throughout the UK. Due to an expansion in their Glasgow office they require an experienced Estimator to add to and complement their existing commercial team. Your new role Working closely with the existing commercial department you will be pricing projects in the Scottish market with the intention of expanding their client portfolio. Your day to day will consist of attending first contact/pre award meetings, carrying out accurate take offs, produce BOQ's and initial project budgets, obtain quotes and negotiate rates, be proactive around deadlines along with other standard duties. What you'll need to succeed You will be an existing Estimator ideally with 5 + years experience. We are also looking for someone with a strong building envelope background in roofing, cladding and glazing. You will be someone who has a desire to grow with the business and advise the company in terms of business opportunities.
