This person will be passionate about the industry, a high achieverand a fine attention to detail. Considerable experience within an estimating role in the building industry, preferably in both residential and commercial construction Experience in interpreting architectural drawings and working from plans and addenda’s An outstanding attention to detail and strong documentation skills Exceptional written and spoken English skills Strong time management and organisation skills Enjoy being part of a team What will you be responsible for? Accurately quoting and estimating residential kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and alfresco areas for both the ABN Group building companies and retail clients Accurately quoting and estimating for large commercial tenders, including preparation of tender documentation Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues Liaising with builders, architects, project managers, suppliers, clients and shop-fitters Interpreting architectural drawings, builder plans and specifications The successful candidate will be energetic, have a can-doattitude, and will be able to demonstrate our core values.
