We embrace continuous innovation in both product development and business techniques to ensure that we remain the firstand best choice for our customers.Purpose:To support the Relay and Repair or Manufacture Business.Main Responsibilities:-Observe Network Rail Standard Specifications-Repair and manufacture of electronic equipment using fault finding (both analogue and digital) to component level-Testing of 240v equipment- Manufacture of printed circuit boards (PCBs)-Inspection of safety-critical equipment- Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions- Work to tight deadlines- Restoration work- Manufacturing to pattern- Be involved in cost-saving initiatives using Unipart Rail tools and techniques- Service and testing of Relays Qualifications Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification in Electronicsis essential Trained to ONC level or equivalent Welding ---Competencies -High level of dexterity Flexible Willing to learn Willingto train to inspector level Motivated Able to work on own initiative High-quality standard.Qualifications:Essential:Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification in Electronics is essential Trained to ONC level orequivalentDesirable:Welding Competencies High level of dexterityFlexible Willing to learn Willing to train to inspector level Motivated Able to work on own initiative High-quality standardCompetencies--IRSE qualified preferred- High level of dexterity- Flexible Willing to learn Willing to train to inspector level-Motivated Able to work on own initiative-High quality standard
