YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Solve reasons for breakdown and undertaking corrective and preventative actions to resolve.Repairs and maintenance of PLC controlled machinery.The recording and reporting of maintenance activities. Conduct equipment inspections and determine appropriate job work scopes and standards.Create and maintain plant history and other technical files to include information in current job plans to anticipate and avoid job delays.Provide technical assistance as required to improve the reliability and performance of the plant's machinery.Comply with company policies and procedures, inc. Health & Safety Standards.Utilise Computer based maintenance management system to support the maintenance function. ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS? Essential Criteria Minimum 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade C or above, or equivalent.NVQ Level 3 electrical / engineering qualification or equivalent.Must be a Time/Skill-Served Electrically. Mechanically advantageous, with Industrial Experience.Fault finding experience on automated machinery, 3 phase motors and associated control gear.Minimum 3 year’s FMCG experience.Ability to read, interpret and apply information from files, electrical and mechanical drawings, catalogues, reports, and manuals.Experience of both the installation of new equipment and overhaul of existing equipmentA sound knowledge of control systems, inverter drives, HMIs, and PLCs (preferably Siemens) mechanical drives, pneumatic and hydraulic systems is essential.
