Are you an experienced and ambitious engineer looking to join a dynamic team and take up a rewarding and challenging role?An opportunity currently exists in the North East for an Engineering Supervisor with CoMAH site experience within the chemicals sector.As the ideal candidate, you will have: * Previous leadership/ supervisory experience in a top tier CoMAH environment * Strong electrical and instrumentation experience in troubleshooting and installation work, as well as exposure to mechanical works * Qualifications in hazardous area working (CompEx) as well as 18th Edition wiring regulations. * Familiarity with relevant regulations and EH&S legislative requirements for CoMAH sitesThis diverse role would include: * Supervising a team of engineering technicians (E&I and Mechanical) to carry out their tasks safely and efficiently, whilst complying with Company guidelines and HSE requirements * Managing the installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of all equipment and instrumentation on site, ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed to a high standard. * Supporting the engineering team in identifying repairs and upgrades, as well as performing additional tasks to maximise and maintain plant efficiency. * Promoting a positive health and safety culture and adhering to Company policies and procedures * Assisting the Engineering Manager with all areas of his work and deputising as requiredThis is an opportunity to join a leading global and environmentally focused company who offer a positive and rewarding culture where employees are valued – This is demonstrated by an excellent track record of staff retention and promotion within the company.A competitive package is available to the successful candidate consisting of £35 - £40K basic salary dependent on experience, healthcare and pension
