Engineering Quality & Process Engineer * If you are passionate about materials engineering and quality processes and have an engineering or materials background, then this could be a fantastic opportunity for you. * This role has been created within a growing engineering business that is involved with the design and manufacture of innovative thermally protective solutions for high value, temperature sensitive pharmaceutical products. * The position is aligned to the design and development, quality and operations teams and is responsible for ensuring industry best practice across the wider global business.Role: Engineering Quality & Process Engineer * As an engineering quality engineer / process engineer you will need to understand the business, its objectives and the product development process (Design, Technical, Testing, Supply chain) * The processes will need to show how the company develops and documents design activities including change control, material testing and evaluation and supplier changes, taking quality and reliability into account. * Your involvement will be instrumental in helping implement a defined and process-oriented structure across the global organisation. * You will also be responsible for driving and developing Laboratory standards, the design process and procedure development, driving improvements within ISO QMS standards, approval of reports, qualification reports, DQ, OQ, PQ protocol and report writing. * You will be involved in coordinating, planning and hands-on testing of new materials either on site in the Lab or with third party suppliers.Skills / Knowledge: Engineering Quality & Process Engineer * High level degree or similar in an engineering or materials discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Composites, Chemical engineering etc.) * Experience of developing / implementing engineering processes, quality engineering / QA procedures within a product development environment * Strong passion for processes and quality engineering and ensuring design/manufacturing teams adhere to business, quality and industry processes * Proven ability of liaison across multiple teams to implement processes or procedures coupled with excellent communication and negotiation skills * Strong experience in MS office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint for creating and presenting reports * Good hands-on testing for mechanical or thermal properties * Excellent written skills coupled with a strong desire to achieve best practiceCandidates may be quality engineer, process engineer, systems engineer or perhaps compliance, certification or even test / validation engineers.This engineering quality engineer is based near Thame, Oxfordshire and is commutable from Aylesbury, High Wycombe, Oxford and Bicester but will be open to engineers relocating to the area
