Engineering Program Manager required for an exciting opportunity with my client, a rapidly expanding global business who design and manufacture innovative products for the electronic entertainment and consumer goods market.Working from the European HQ in Gloucestershire, this is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, agile and energetic candidate to join a company undergoing staggering growth in a continuously thriving market sector. Job Summary:The main responsibility of the Engineering Program Manager is to lead a global cross-functional team in order to develop, commercialise and deliver innovative product solutions that meet cost, schedule and scope requirements.Job Responsibilities:Independently leads projects and leads new technology developments with support of Management.Develop and deliver new product strategic plans to deliver growth and keep the company as market leaders.Develop and manage project schedules.Responsible for delivering project timing, cost, quality, and budget.Empower project managers to create robust long-term strategies.Develop global working relationships in particular with the USA and Far East supplier to streamline project delivery.Work closely with the R&D team to develop product test plans and confirm requirements.Input with updating project spend and CAPEX budgets.Lead team meetings that drive project execution and delivery.Communicates project expectations and plans to the project team members, management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise fashion.Ensures project outputs are consistently high-quality, on time and within budget to all business objectives. Qualifications and Skills:Consumer products or FMCG industry experience an advantage.Previous experience in plastics moulding, metal forming, PCB/electronics designor product assembly an advantage.Experience in product development and/or project leadership roles.Ability to facilitate relations between business groups and technology departments.Familiar with structured project management methodologies.Proficient in project management tools.
