My client are currently looking to recruit an experienced Engineering Planner (12 Mth FTC) to join their site on the outskirts of Glasgow. You will be working with a successful manufacturer that are well established, financially stable and have earned a reputation as an excellent employer not only with Scotland but across their multiples sites globally. As an integral part of the maintenance department, as the Engineering Planner you will closely with the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for planning, scheduling and implementing maintenance plans for the site. Duties and Responsibilities:* Planning and creating maintenance plans and schedules for all site manufacturing assets * Creating comprehensive event plans for all major overhaul activities and shutdowns * Working in conjunction with Stores and Procurement to ensure material availability for all planned maintenance* Generating engineering performance reports * Holding regular review meetings to monitor effectiveness of maintenance plans * Ensuring that Maintenance Plan is communicated to all involved parties Education & Experience:* Proven experience of working in a Maintenance or Engineering planning role within a manufacturing organisation * Experience of using JD Edwards or similar systems i.e. SAP * Proven experience of working within an Engineering Department Please Note - To be considered you must be able to start immediately, and be open to a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
