My client who are a local training provider based in Wearside are currently looking for a Lecturer/ Assessor for a immediate startRole:This is a combined role - Engineering Lecturer / Workplace Assessor / Project Delivery. The incumbent in this role will be expected to: * Deliver a number of technical certificate units: Advanced Manufacturing (Mechanical bias); Organisation efficiency (BIT); Engineering project * Manage a portfolio of engineering apprentices (mainly multi-skilled maintenance) * Carry out reviews, observations and assessments * Assist learners with EPA preparation * At times of light teaching loads, carry out a variety of project based activityKey Responsibilities: * Deliver outstanding teaching, using a range of teaching and learning methods to create interesting and engaging learning sessions. * Mark and assess students’ work, providing feedback that supports learners to progress. * Liaise with other members of staff to ensure successful delivery of overall programme * Comply with internal and external quality management systems * Provide students with academic and pastoral support to help them achieve their goals. * Take responsibility for the progress and achievement of all students on your course. * Deliver IAG to support students’ decision making and high rates of progression * Carry out apprentice observation reviews and assessments * Liaise from time-to-time with sub-contract delivery organisations * Prepare apprentices for endpoint assessment * Deliver internal projects
