Training and development organisation with growing reach and expanding product offering is seeking an Engineering Lecturer with a focus on Mechanical and Electrical skills to teach a range of units and develop course content. You will deliver training both in the training centre and within industrial settings.Salary: £ 32,000 - £ 35,000 p.a. + Excellent Annual Leave + Pension + Private Health CareCommutable from: Oxford, Banbury, Bicester, Witney, Abingdon, FaringdonThe Role:The Engineering Lecturer will deliver and create course content for a high quality packages within electrical and mechanical units for a manufacturing engineering focused and accredited course. The Lecturer will teach on the units, prepare the schemes of work, lesson plans and resource materials in addition to preparing assessment plans and criteria for the learners.You will assess learner progress regularly and provide feedback and support to learners supporting a core framework of development within English, Maths and ICT with the curriculum packages. Attendance monitoring, pastoral support and engagement with their wider apprenticeship programmes will also be required throughout the role.The PersonThe ideal candidate will possess a recognised training background and a minimal level 3 qualification in engineering ideally with mechanical and electrical skill base.
