Engineering Leader

Our retained client, an award-winning business at the early stage of their journey has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Engineering Leader.The company is looking to scale up significantly and the successful hire will be an engaging and approachable leader who enjoys mentoring and develops feedback-oriented team cultures.They are looking for a leader who will develop the people, the process and responsibilities include:Responsible for leading and managing a team that delivers scalable processes/products,Rigorously manage on-time delivery on OKRs / KPIs, and budgets,Lead the development of new products, processes, and services.Introduction of new processes including set up, characterisation, validation, and development of process controls,Contribute to the specification, design, procurement, and qualification of custom processing equipment,Lead the service business team.Responsible for ensuring our resources are continually developed to safeguard the right expertise,Define engineering standards - develop and mentor other Engineers within the company,Stay on top of technology trends and developments,Lead and regularly report on the development of the product and technical roadmap, including measures of performance.Create and champion a culture of cutting-edge Lean product delivery techniques that will motivate, develop, and grow the team to continually innovate and create modern practices and frameworks that are unique to the organisation,Manage stakeholders to ensure strong engagement of product development enhancements and to gain feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology.They are looking for a leader with sound engineering experience and you can point to a track record of technology and product innovation.You will have successfully implemented new end to end process/product development methodologies and ideally your experience will have been gained in either medical device, semi-conductors, or similar related industries.
