Engineering Capital Projects Manager - FTG

As a capital programme manager you will be responsible to facilitate the delivery of the capital investment programme ensuring that capability is developed in line with the Business Team and Group strategic vision.Apply governance across the Business Team Capital programme ensuring that the Capital Management process is understood, deployed, and executed in line with the Group Capital Management policyWork with the Operations teams, partnering with the Business Unit Operations Director to raise the capital plan and then monitor and control capital investment spending to ensure cash flow is both aligned with agreed budgets and appropriately distributed across the life cycle of the projectMonitor, and review capital programme costs across the Business Unit, programme requirements, resources, interdependencies and programme risks to ensure effective and efficient capital programme deliveryOversee the delivery of multi-site or large strategic projects to ensure the delivery of agreed return on the capital investment objectivesLiaise with Group Purchasing to maximise the cost and business effectiveness of the capital management process to ensure preferred supplier agreements leverage maximum benefit to the GroupWork closely with and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, and external suppliers in order to ensure capital projects are met and delivered effectivelyProvide leadership to the Business Unit Capital Project Team and set direction to the capital financial accountant to ensure they are engaged, focused, developed and delivering their potentialJob DescriptionAre you looking for scale, complexity and challenge in your next role? This role will manage 6 sites(Atherstone, Crosby, Bow, Heathrow, Park Royal and Manton Wood) across the UK. We’re looking for a confident driven individual that’s able to flex their approach to bring clarity to complex environments and situations to deliver results.
