Electrical Maintenance Technician – BirtleySalary - £29,184.05 basic - £37,958.09An international manufacturing company are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join their Engineering Team on a permanent basis. The right candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery, running diagnostic tests, and updating all service and repair records.The Role and Responsibilities * To develop and implement electrical maintenance plans to prevent costly equipment breakdowns. * Troubleshooting electrical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs * Using route cause analysis to eliminate any faults/breakdowns. * To Monitor the availability of parts and replenishing supplies * Developing and using SOP’s to carry out training for co-workers on the safe and efficient use of electrical machinery and equipment. * Complying with Health and Safety Environment Policies * Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations * Installing new equipment and upgrading existing equipment to meet production demands.Knowledge and Experience * Time served with at least two years’ experience as an Electrical Technician in a similar COMAH environment. * HNC in Electrical Engineering * Siemens PLC (Step 7) * Tia Portal * Experience working with various voltages – AC and DC. * Must be able to read electrical diagrams and drawings. * The ability to work on own initiative and able to liaise with other departments at all levels. * Excellent Communication Skills * Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. * Must be focused on continuous improvement with a safety mind set. * Full Driving LicenceIf you are interested in this role, please send a copy of your up to date CV via the apply button
