Domestic Gas EngineerCrewe£29,000 - £32,000 + vanFantastic opportunity to work within a leading and well-established mechanical contractor as a Domestic Gas EngineerA respected mechanical contractor is seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer to join their team. The Domestic Gas Engineer will be working on commercial sites including schools, pubs and commercial settings. The client is experienced in the fields of specialist gas installation, commercial ME, facilities maintenance, domestic plumbing and heating, system disinfection and industrial pipework/gas installation.Please be aware that this role will be split 60% gas related work and 40% plumbing.Key Duties for a Domestic Gas Engineer:Working on varied projects including commercial and domestic buildings;Carrying out installations, servicing, maintenance and repairs on domestic systems;Work will be service and reactive; working with boilers, plumbing repairs, burst pipes, gas safety certificates and radiators.The Successful Domestic Gas Engineer MUST Have:An accredited commercial gas engineer qualification (i.e. an NVQ);Experience/be working on commercial projects currently;A high level of gas and plumbing skills and knowledge;A full, clean, driver's license;Willing to undergo a DBS disclosure.Desirable for a Domestic Gas Engineer:Commercial Catering Qualifications (COMCAT);Renewables Qualification;LPG;Plumbing Qualification;Specialist Gases experience/qualification;Experience working with Oil;Electrical maintenance experience/qualifications;Current CSCS card.The client prides themselves on the quality of the work they do.
