A Local Authority based in Greater Manchester is looking for a Disabled Facility Grant Surveyor to join their Urban Renewal team as soon as possible.Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.This is fixed term, part time role until the end of March working Monday- Wednesday and the ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience working with Disabled facility grants, specifically with surveying & Inspections and will ideally have experience working with Local Authorities.The purpose of the role is to support in the delivery of Disabled Facilities Grants in terms of on sight inspections and Surveys.The main responsibilities of the role are to deliver a range of activities including surveying properties/housing inspections, producing schedules of work, working with a wide range of internal and external customers and providing excellent customer care.You will also be required to provide technical support to all relevant activities within Urban Renewal.You will need to work effectively and efficiently within the team and to tight deadlines, whilst managing your own workload.Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are essential, and some knowledge of private sector housing would be useful but not essential.You will be required to work from home due to the current pandemic and travel to customer's homes to conduct surveys and inspections.Hours of work will be 22 per week (Monday to Wednesday) worked in accordance with the Authority's flexitime arrangements and is for a fixed term until 31/3/2021.The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering &163;15 p/hour Umbrella Ltd.So if this position sounds of interest, email a copy of your up to date CV to or call James at Service Care Construction on Not interested in this role but know somebody who could be?
