Job Duties: Overall Design and Development of the company's Agri and waste engineering product range, managing materials to maintain a cost effective and efficient manufacturing process.Hands on design of new products using Solid WorksConstruct Bill of Materials lists for all products.Liaise with team members to formulate objectives and understand requirementsMonitor product design and implement improvements where required. Determine business needs and take actions required to maintain targetsCalculate and monitor material efficiencies via design requirementsStock control of raw materials in respect of design of productsLiaise with team member regarding galvanising requirementsPromote and manage Health and Safety and Environmental matters within the companySupport the introduction of new productsEnsure Quality standards are achieved at all timesMinimise scrap and utilise all materials and off cuts Qualifications / Experience: EssentialMinimum 2 years design experience in agricultural or similar fabrication environmentStrong knowledge of using Solid worksBasic understanding of agriculture Strong command of the English language both verbal and writtenAble to demonstrate computer literacy particularly with Excel spreadsheets and PowerPointAbility to organise and prioritise work effectively Strong problem solving skills Must be willing and able to travel for work occasionally, flexible hours to ensure business needs are metHave access to own transport for business purposes and a valid drivers licenceProficient in MS OfficeAttention to detail
