Data Architecture Chapter LeadLocation: Newbury (Remote working during Covid, then one or two days per week in the office, remaining home based) The data architecture chapter Lead will be in charge of planning the long term strategy for the data architecture across Vodafone Business and ensure implementation across the streams in time to enable all business requirements. Data architecture is a complex and niche area at the heart of our data transformation strategy, the key pillars of which are: Data governance & privacy Data modelling Master data management Data movement and transformation Data quality The lead will manage a team of leaders as well as SMEs that will drive the sub-chapters. You will work closely with the business sponsors, product management team, data science, BI and visualisation teams to ensure we are creating the future of Vodafone Business Data architecture enabling our AI everywhere vision. What will you be doing? Define the end state data architecture and create a Costing, BC, and implementation plan for all streams. Setting the expectations with the teams and ensuring standardisation. Driving the technical delivery of mega programmes as well as medium and small projects, within the same portfolio and following the same standards. Data governance, audit and controls of the cloud/all platform usage for continuous improvement and efficiency. Build and maintain a strong future proof MDM. Best practice sharing in analytics projects across commercial marketing and all Vodafone business functions. Supplier relationship and set up for all data architecture requirements. Who are we looking for? Strong experience managing complex cloud data deliveries. Experience in leading large organisations/teams. Stakeholder management at the highest level at Group and Markets levels. Master Data and Reference data experience through specialised products such as ataccama, IBM Infosphere MDM, Profisee. As well as product knowledge will be required. Data modelling experience for complex enterprise organisation with tools such as power designer Data management experience using informatica or Collibra as the technology enabling cataloguing etc. Data architecture and strategy.
