This is a multi-skilled role and as such you will be required to undertake a wide range of manual tasks such as:-Installing damp & waterproofing systems (damp proof courses, waterproofing membranes, tanking systems, pump stations etc..)Plastering, rendering & dry liningTimber replacements, repairs & preservative treatments (installing new floors, doors/casings, skirting boards etc..)Structural repairs (installing wall ties, resin and mechanical anchors, lintel replacements)General building repairs (pointing, installing airbricks, mastic sealing, gully repairs, ground alterations, fall pipe repairs etc..)Traditional building repairs (lime plastering, pointing and rendering)Other manual tasks that fall within a competent manual workers capabilities.This role is suited to somebody who has experience of working in a construction environment undertaking building repairs. A reasonable understanding of building constructions matched with excellent manual abilities is essential.
