Customer Service and Health and Safety Coordinator

Position: Customer Services and Health and Safety CoordinatorLocation: NewtownabbeyDuration: Temporary (8 month contract)Rate of Pay: £22 to £26k per annumHours of Work: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4pm Friday 7:30am to 1pmDuties will include (but not be limited to):Handling customer queries and providing accurate up to date information on orders.Processing orders through bespoke SK systemEnsuring all emails have been actioned in efficient mannerOrdering and controlling incoming sheet to ensure efficient running of plant and machinesCoordination of all sheet/raw material going to and from 3rd party’sLiaising with other plants to ensure timely supplyUpdate and maintain the Quality and Health and Safety management systemsAssist in Internal Audit process and any external customer or standards body auditMaintain ISO standard audit process systemsCoordination and management of credits/ returns to suppliersCoordinating time on machines and with operators to update documentsSourcing and coordinating the install of visual communicationOrganising suppliers to complete updates to machinery and plantAny other duties as and when requiredEssential Criteria:Third level qualification degree or equivalent 2:1Comfortable dealing directly with management, staff, customers and suppliersExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint and WordAbility to coordinate multiple projects within appropriate timelinesProven record of achieving results and completing projectsDesirable Criteria:Experience in the manufacturing industryPrevious experience in a health and safety roleAshton Recruitment is acting as a Recruitment Business.
