The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient cash collection, allocation of receipts, reconciliation of accounts, dealing with customer queries and liaising with other departments. You will also adhere to the policies and guidelines for the department set by the Customer Revenue Manager. This position warrants provision of excellent Customer Service to our sensitive customer base.Primary Responsibilities Posting cash received onto sage 200Allocation of receipts to remittancesChasing debts by telephone, letter and email in line with weekly debtor reports run by the Customer Revenue ManagerPrompt allocation of credits where corrected invoices have been runPromoting, setting up and maintaining accounts to pay by Direct DebitLiaising with customers and internal departments concerning queries, logging these on our system and resolving them as efficiently as possibleDespatching monthly statements via post and emailUse of internal systems to access customer details and information to enable debts to be chasedTo reduce aged debt as a monthly targetEnsure the Customer Revenue Manager is kept up to date on progress/problems promptlyTo work within the team to keep all daily/weekly duties up to date This is not an exhaustive list of duties and the post holder will be expected to perform other tasks within this role Person SpecificationThe successful candidate will be - Experienced in Credit ControlProficient in use of word and excelAble to offer excellent communication skillsInteract within the team to ensure daily/weekly tasks achievedMeticulous with organisation and time management techniques to prioritise workload effectively especially at peak times of the monthPrevious experience of sage 200 an advantageAble to master a variety of systems for use on a daily basisDue to the nature of our business, ability to remain calm and rational under pressure whilst still conveying a professional attitude is vital as is showing empathy to customers and their relatives in both spoken and written communications CompetenciesThe successful candidate should possess – Previous Credit Control experience is essentialExcellent communication skillsProficient in use of word and excelA high level of computer literacyDrive to achieve targetsSalary Competitive
