I am currently recruiting on behalf of an excellent legal firm in recruiting a Conveyancing Assistant. As the Conveyancing Assistant you are required to support fee earners throughout the conveyancing process. You will be able to handle inbound and outbound calls and carry out administrative support duties with efficiency to aid in the smooth running of the Conveyancing Department.Key Responsibilities:Drafting legal contracts/documentationAid the team on a varied caseload of filesLiaising with clients and third partiesDealing with complex sale enquiriesAnswering email and telephone queriesProducing letters, emails and documentsDiary managementLiaise with clients and agents on a daily basis to resolve issues that ariseEnsuring electronic and paper files are kept up to date and easily accessibleWork independently at times to progress files accordinglyRequirementsGood working knowledge of conveyancing processAt least 1 year's experience in a similar roleGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including word and outlookGood personal organisation including the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlinesAbility to work alone or as part of a teamExcellent communication
