Position: Contracts ManagerLocation: StaffordshireStart date: 03.2021Duration: PermanentHours: 8:30-4:30pm Mon-FriSalary: Competitive, dependant on experienceThe Client:A market leading mechanical engineering company in the water treatment industry with locations throughout the West Midlands and StaffordshireThe Role:Our client is recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join their expending team for a start from March 2021. Duties will include: * Maintaining close working relationships with the Managing Director & client and interacting proactively with other departments and members of the engineering team. * Maintaining Contracts programme delivery system * Preparing technical equipment selections * Working closely with the production manager to maintain manufacturing schedules * Working closely with the engineering team to monitor production of design and detail drawings * Working closely with procurement to monitor supply of materials and components * Supervising Contracts engineers and monitoring progress of contracts and installations * Supervising the scheduling of the installation programme * Assisting with communications and transfer of information between departments, clients, the designers, sub-contractors & vendors. * Performing handover meeting with new orders from Projects Manager * Highlighting any commercial risk from design or proposed contractual agreement. * Maintaining knowledge of Water industry specification and NEC contract conditions * Developing a working knowledge of the various treatment processes and machine selection procedures * Carrying out site visits and perform site inspections * Visiting clients to attend pre-let and progress meetingsRequirements: * Degree level or HNC qualification * Experience of working in a manufacturing environment * Working knowledge of the UK water industry.About Us:Integrate Engineering Resources Ltd provides a dedicated recruitment service to the Engineering Construction sector.
