Cordant People has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Construction Project Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple commercial ground works projects, ensuring that these projects are brought in on time and in budget. Main duties include:* Undertaking regular formal inspections of sites* Managing and overseeing all aspects of project works* Programming and allocation of materials plant and personnel* Implementing project requirements to fully meet the client specification in accordance with relevant standards.* Ensuring client satisfaction during projects and at handover* Ensuring Health and Safety processes and procedures are adhered to on siteYou must have: You will be of exceptional calibre and have operated at Site Engineer / Project Manager / Contracts Manager level with another commercial ground works or civils contractor.You must have experience in running multiple contracts from inception through to completion.Your proven track record will demonstrate your ability to balance strategic responsibilities with the pressure of dealing with site staff and clients in order to deliver projects on time and within budget.You need to be able and willing to carry out setting out duties on site.Must have civils construction background (min 5 years)Must have SMSTS Benefits:Salary £45,000 - £50,000(max)Company carLaptop, mobileBonus schemeCompany PensionIf you feel this role is for you and you can demonstrate a proven background within the Construction/Civils sector then please apply now!Cordant People we are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our prestigious Client based in the Newport area on a Permanent contract.
