Construction Site Manager

A large and highly successful Engineering company requires a Construction Site Manager to be based at their Blackburn site.This role is a 2 year fixed contract.The Role:Managing all aspects of site work to ensure safe and cost effective building of large industrial building. * Oversee and direct construction project from conception to completion * Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs * Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations * Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors * Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory * Meet contractual conditions of performance * Review the work progress on daily basis * Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones * Negotiate terms of agreements. * Analyse, manage and mitigate risks * Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniquesThe Person: * Must have practical knowledge and experience of working and controlling documentation, to satisfy the CDM Regulations. * 10+ years’ experience in construction management. * Must have proven problem solving ability * Must have experience in commercial and civil construction. * Experience in plan checking and the ability to read and understand technical drawings then guide operatives through the construction * Leadership and human resources management skills * Excellent time and project management skillsIf you are interested in the role of Construction Site Manager please submit your CV for considerationRole: Construction Site Manager Job Type: ContractLocation: BB1, Lancashire, Apply for this job now.
