Our client is a major contractor - a Tier 1 business with a very strong profile across Wales and the West. They have the capacity to build some of the UK's highest profile schemes, anad are generally considered a market leader in regards to major construction and refurb projects.Due to the award of a flagship scheme, they are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis, working on a major build project near Newport.This role will involve reporting to the Project Lead on the scheme, and in effect you will be the No.2 on the project. You will manage the Construction from winning the project to delivering on site, have full ownership, responsibility and accountability commencing at the pre-construction phase through to successful project delivery. You will also manage a team of package managers on site and coordinate them effectively.
