An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Project Manager to join a UK leading Facilities and Construction business. Due to growth and an expanding portfolio of work, they are seeking a Construction Project Manager to work on various schemes throughout the Midlands and North West. The Construction Project Manager will report to the Contracts Manager/Senior Project Manager, will have responsibility for the operational management and performance of the contract(s) / site(s) to which he/she is assigned.The RoleTo ensure works are completed safely to programme, budget and quality standards expected by the client in a professional and ethical manner adhering to commercial guidelines, established best practice and professional/company standards.To ensure all supporting functions sustain operational management to maximise returns in terms of profit and service level.Able to Identify, manage and reduce all unnecessary costs and inefficient activities - ensure project / contract risks are clearly identified and controlled.Promote the development of team members and actively encourage effective relationships.Ensure the requirements of the HSE policies are fully understood and implemented.Ensure the establishment and administration of working processes, planned and reactive maintenance regimes, health, safety and environmental management and support to the contract commercial team are all key parts of the role.Ensure that all works including those of suppliers and subcontractors are supervised and coordinated to deliver on safety, quality, programme and environmental objectives.Qualifications and SkillsConstruction Management Degree / EquivalentCSCS Managers CardMCIOBExperience in a similar role for a main contractorIf you're a Project Manager or Site Manager seeking your next career move this could be the opportunity for you, this would suit a Project Manager seeking their next move, or alternatively Site Manager seeking a platform to progress into a Project Manager role. ---Fusion People are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
