Construction Project Manager

Construction Project ManagerV-Recruit are currently recruiting for a Permanent Project Manager to start work for an exciting, growing company based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire on a permanent basis.Our client is based in South Yorkshire but complete most of their work across the Lancashire/Merseyside counties, soon to be reaching as northwards as Cumbria.You will be mainly office based, but some travel to sites will be required.The right candidates will be experienced managing projects that consist of commercial to residential conversions, mainly to apartments or HMO’s.Main duties and responsibilities: * Understanding what the client and company strives to achieve * Agreeing timescales, costs and resources needed to deliver a project * Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of a project * Selecting and leading a project team * Negotiating with contractors and suppliers * Directing a multi-disciplinary team * Communicating with staff at every level, in a calm, personable way * Ensuring that each stage of the project happens on time, on budget and to a high standard * Reporting regularly on progress to the client and stakeholders * Coordinating market and customer research * Resolving any issues or delays * Demonstrating knowledge of all areas of construction * Managing several projects simultaneously with the support of junior project managers * Working in an office or on a construction siteJob Specifics * Permanent * Salary in the region of £35,000-£40,000 per annum * 40 hours per week * Fuel packageThe right candidate will have their Managers CSCS card, SMSTS, First Aid and will ideally come from a trade background, such as Joinery.You must have previous experience in managing similar projects, and ideally the capability to run one larger commercial-residential conversion or multiple smaller HMO projects.To ApplyFor more information and to apply, please contact Becky Verity at V-Recruit on (phone number removed) and email your CV
