Construction / Materials Buyer Harrogate £30-50k We seek a dynamic buyer with previous experience in the construction industry to join a successful company in the Harrogate area. This role will consist of procuring all materials and services necessary to ensure the progress and on-time completion of range of construction projects whilst maintaining competitive prices. As the Construction / Materials Buyer you will be responsible for:Liaising with internal teams to plan for and order materials and services for all projects Producing and analysing procurement schedules Working from drawings to produce materials list and costings Working the commercial team on tenders for new projectsProducing purchase orders and crosschecking relating invoicesDeveloping the supplier database to ensure delivery and best value to the business and its customersMonitor and negotiate with current suppliers to ensure quality and value of goods and services deliveredUndertake project procurement through the whole project life-cycle.
