Construction Assessor

Are you an experienced tradesman looking for new challenge? Thinking about using your knowledge to train up young adults?Prospero Teaching are looking for construction professionals who are interested in stepping into education to share their knowledge to young adults completing an apprenticeship. We work with various colleges in the Yorkshire area who may be looking for construction Assessors in April or the next academic year. The successful candidate will be responsible for:Working closely with tradesmen on site and keeping them informed of their apprentice's progress.Required to carry out workplace assessments, reviews and set action plans for apprentices.Preparing students for end point assessment by providing them with the knowledge and support they need to successfully pass their apprenticeship.Potentially teaching small groups of apprentices within college. Ideally you will have:Assessor A1 Award or equivalent (ideal but not essential)Practical experience on siteNVQ level 3 or equivalent in a trade.Maths and English level 2 or equivalent.Experience of working with young people between 16+Driving license is essential as you will travel to sites to assess students work.
