Compliance Manager (Gas & Electrical)

Job Title: Compliance Manager (Heating & Electrics)Hours: 39 per weekSalary: 40,000 - 45,000Responsible to:Head of Property Compliance Responsible for:All staff within Section including exte al contractors, consultants and partners as required. The Post Holder will also need to work effectively with Board Members, Group Managers, Supervisors and Customers.Job Summary:Manage the end-to-end process for the delivery of compliant gas and electrical services and evidence full compliance with legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements. Gas services will include mains gas, lpg, and other solid fuel systems. Ensure that the end to end service compliance process is followed. Review and audit compliance controls to ensure that the team are following correct process and outcomes are compliant. Work closely with inte al and exte al contractors to ensure efficient and effective delivery of servicingManage the heating repairs and any remedial works following electrical safety works. Key Responsibilities:Strategic 1.Document property compliance weekly, demonstrating how the Group achieves compliance across gas and electrical services. Complete Key Performance Indicator reporting. 2.Manage gas and electrical servicing to ensure that all of the Group's properties are fully compliant with requisite regulations and policy requirements.3.Lead, support and mentor the teams providing gas and electrical services, driving the performance and achievement of the Group's strategies, targets and programmes.4.Deliver excellent quality works and services and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Operational 1.Monitor performance of the in-house team, and contractors against targets; identify shortfalls and remedial action for improvements.2.Ensure that the delivery of services follow agreed policies and procedures. 3.Ensure excellent customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the service provision.4.Review processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, including auditing of how procedures are applied. 5.Ensure that processes are in place and operated correctly to manage property data components and attributes to ensure correct and accurate information is held in the system. 6.Lead on and support any audits / accreditation renewals for the service areas responsible for.Financial Tasks and Risk Management 1.Ensure full compliance with legal, statutory and regulatory requirements relating to the service activity. Ensure that accurate audit files are prepared and maintained to demonstrate home safety compliance and evidence correct KPI entry.Management tasks (People) 1.Lead the teams delivering gas and electrical servicing. 2.Ensure effective project management is embedded within the team including initiating, pla ing, executing, controlling, and closing the work to achieve specific goals and targets.3.Carry out effective briefing and coordinating of the team, review performance and challenge staff, contractors and consultants to deliver high performance.4.Ensure the provision of regular, individual feedback to staff via 1-2-1's and PPR's5.Ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of staff. Ensure that teams, consultants, and contractors, undertake risk assessments as necessary and comply with Policy, Procedure and Safe Working Practices.6.Ensure that resources are allocated effectively throughout the department. Encourage a culture of flexibility to ensure that all areas within the department are adequately resourced.7.Ensure that any training needs are identified and training implemented on a regular basis.Administration 1.Produce and present performance and other reports to various Boards, Committees, and Groups as required.Special Conditions1.Attendance at meetings outside of normal office hours (infrequent)2.Requirement to travel between company sites.
