Commercial Gas Technician required to join our global engineering client on an initial contract basis for 6 months with the option to convert to permanent.PLEASE NOTE: this role involves frequent and regular Travel - mainly around the UK but also in Europe and beyond.Our client have been in operation for over 4 decades and have established themselves within the Engineering industry on a global scale.Due to the number in additional projects, the business require a Gas Technician to join them as soon as possible. You will be require to travel extensively within the UK as well as Overseas - Full Clean UK Driving License & UK Passport required and our client will reimburse and pay for expenses. A Company uniform, vehicle, Laptop & mobile phone will also be provided.Skills and requirements include * Commercial Gas Technician - base qualifications for pipework and process control * Holder of Gas Safe Commercial Qualifications - low pressure LPG & LPG Pipework Purging & testing * Willing to travel extensively UK & Overseas - Full Clean UK Driving License & UK Passport required * Experience of Industrial Natural/Propane gas process systems (Liquid & gas phases) * Mechanical experience, in addition to pipe installation & pipe testing skills (welding/fitting etc.) * Formal Electrical qualifications with fault finding experience advantageous * Advantage for Industrial Burner & combustion Process Control experience (Furnaces or HVAC)Please send us your CV for immediate consideration
