They provide constructive solutions, UK wide for clients within a variety of sectors including retail, health, education and commercial.They are unique in the marketplace in that they have the expertise and capability to offer multiple services to clients including new build, fit out, engineering services and a range of specialist solutions.Due to a new contract win, with a national supermarket retailer, our client is now looking to recruit an experienced Commercial Air-Conditioning Supervisor to manage a number of engineers across the South of England. This new contract is a 5-year deal.Job Function:The Supervisor is crucial to the delivery of PPM, reactive and testing work streams whilst supporting with technical assistance to the Engineers across the region.The role will require you to supervise, influence and build strong working relationships with the customers internal teams and your Engineers. The role is responsible for effectively planning and leading your team to ensure all services are completed to the agreed standard.You will be the technical expert and key account holder for FGAS ensuring maintenance of the company’s obligations to ensure their ongoing membership, in addition you will support and guide your engineers though any training. The requirement to manage a budget and service delivery in a cost-effective manner is critical whilst ensuring compliance with customer and company health and safety.Principle Accountabilities: * Delivery of planned and reactive air-conditioning maintenance works on sites, with some refrigeration maintenance included * Identification and resolution of repair, maintenance and installation issues that may affect programme delivery * Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations * Always representing the company in a professional and competent manner at all times and develop strong working relationships with colleagues and clientsSkills / Background / Qualifications Required: * F Gas (2079) Category 1 * City and Guilds Level 2 or equivalent * Previous experience of effectively leading and managing a team is essential * Familiar with RDM or other similar control systems * Experience working within supermarket / retail stores * Full driving licence and flexible to travel on a daily basisPlease only apply for these roles if you are F GAS (2079) Category 1 qualified and have a full and valid driving licence.To apply for this role please submit your full and up to date CV to Daniel Murphy at PDA Search and Selection
