CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS NEEDED - DAY / NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE WITH OPTIONAL WEEKENDS Our Client has won a new contract which has increased the demand for Class 1 HGV Drivers. They are one of the UKs Largest Distributors of mail. Based in Warrington the job involves Class 1 Drivers delivering trailers to their customer hubs around the UK. Search Consultancy have worked with this customer from over 12 months and can offer regular ongoing work or ad hoc shifts for those only able to work part time. THE JOB You will be driving a Class 1 HGV (C+E) truck. Trunking between depots around the UK. They have curtain side and rigid box trailers. On occasion drivers may be required to assist the warehouse with unloading the vehicles. Each trailer is filled with York's of mail (similar to a roll cage). SHIFT PATTERNS The job has regular work between Monday to Friday. Weekend work is also available mostly on Days with occasional Sunday Nights. We can accommodate drivers looking to work both ongoing with the same customer or on an ad hoc basis. The job has excellent rates of pay: £12.25 ph - Monday to Friday - Days £14.00 ph - Monday to Friday - Nights £15.00 ph - Saturday £17.00 ph - Sunday £17.50 ph- Bank Holiday THE DRIVER For this job you must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence. For insurance purposes you must have no more than 6 minor points on your licence. Drivers will need to complete a small induction on site health & safety rules and will need to take a Drug & Alcohol test prior to their shift commencing.
