Chartered Rural Surveyor

With a network of offices across Yorkshire, and a track record spanning 100 years, they can boast unrivalled knowledge of the local market. Offering a range of services that includes residential sales and lettings, commercial sales and lettings, development sales and auctions, their Agricultural team are involved in wide-ranging work encompassing valuations, planning advice, contract farming agreements, grant schemes and estate planning.This is an outstanding opportunity to for a Rural Surveyor to potentially start at Director level, where, once established as an integral part of the leadership team, there is the potential for buying into the business to become an equity partner. The Role You will be responsible for broad ranging professional advisory work as detailed above, as well as providing strategic direction and leadership to the Agricultural team – currently 4 strong. Your remit will include nurturing existing client relationships, as well as identifying new business opportunities with a view to the longer-term growth of the department. You will be confident in delivering fee targets and managing the financial performance of the function. The Person RICS accreditation is a pre-requisite for this exciting role. You will have a thorough understanding of agriculture and rural land management, developed through your professional experience and potentially through having a farming background. You will be driven and self-motivated, able to lead and inspire a team whilst ensuring excellence in professional standards at all times. You will be a confident communicator and natural networker, able to establish new business contacts and bring on new clients. The Reward £45,000pa to £50,000pa Depending on Experience Rewarding position with good prospects for career progression
