The is an ongoing temporary position to start immediately.Your role as a HGV, Class 1 Bulk Tanker driver will be the loading and delivery of bulk liquid gas tanks to numerous clients around the North East.The hours of work are Monday- Friday paid at £13.49 per hour, night rate per hour is £17.32. Weekend work occasionally available with an allowance per day on top of hourly pay rate of £90.27. All breaks are paid.All HGV, Class 1, ADR bulk drivers need to be fully flexible to carry out any of the following tasks as part of their normal duties:Fill and analyse own tankers and high pressure trailersCarry out minor repairs to their vehicles using minimal tools such as screwdrivers and spanners e.g. replacement of bulbs and lenses; replacing fuses and resetting electrical trips on vehiclesReplacing cryogenic hose sealsCouple and uncouple motive units/towing vehicles from tankers/trailersRefuel the vehiclesYou must haveA high level of personal Integrity,Ability to work as part of a team,Ability to work to deadlines/be task orientatedAbility to interact with internal and external customersAbility to adapt to change High level of Safety AwarenessYou will:Have a minimum of two years tanker experienceYou will hold a valid Class 1 driving licence with no more than six pointsYou will hold a digital tachograph cardFull CPCLevel 6 ADR is essentialIf this role is of interest to you , please apply online and we will contact you as soon as possible.
