Category Specialist 1 Year Fixed Term Contract £35,000 - £40,000 (Room for negotiation) Location: Remote Working Industry : Biotechnology/Medical Overview: My Biotechnology client is currently looking for a Category Manager/Product Manager with a high level of professionalism and strong communication skills. Ideally the CM will have come from a background of portfolio or category management and have experience working with international suppliers or clients. We are open to candidates from backgrounds other than Biotechnology/medical, so please apply if you feel you have the right skills and have Category Management experience. The role: This position will have a heavy focus on the implementation of strategies that are already in place and contribute to the management of a category or categories of products, including the management of key suppliers. To be clear this position will not entail the sourcing or procurement element. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the European Category Management Team to ensure correct supplier/product positioning, pricing and promotions are used to drive revenue growth. Key suppliers will be managed through regular supplier engagement and business reviews to secure appropriate supplier engagement and support.
