Connect Appointments are now recruiting for experienced cask handlers, who have a sound understanding of the maturation process and are fully coherent with spirits industry legislation for our fantastic client based in the North Lanarkshire area.Our client is a global leader throughout the spirits industry, manufacturing numerous prestigious brands within the whisky, vodka, gin, liquors sectors and with exclusive packaging.The right candidate must be polite, professional and able to work alone unsupervised using your own initiative.To be successful in this role you must have previous cask handling experience and a driving licence due to site location.Successful applicants will be responsible for the safe movement of spirit within an existing set of process procedures.You will be required to carry out duties including filling, warehousing, disgorging and empty cask handling, to ensure targets are met relating to quality, service and cost.There will be occasion when extended hours working will be required, particularly during peak periods.Skills and experienceCask handling experienceExperience of working in a team-orientated environment would be advantageous, although support and development will be provided.Basic PC skills.Good numerical skills.Manual handling experience.Most important attribute will be to have the right behavioural skills, which demonstrate a Can do will do attitudeGeneral warehouse experienceForklift licence - counterbalanceHours of work - Mon-Thur 08.00am-17.00pm.Fri-08.00am-13:00pmRate of pay aare �11.00 to �11.70 depending on experience Due to location of site, a driving licence is essential to this role.If you have previous experience of working within a spirit maturation environment within the last few years.We would like to hear from you.Please apply here now with your most recent CV and we will call you.This position will be an immediate startINDHAM
