Business Development Executive

Our Client, a Highland based Support Services Company to the offshore energy markets, are looking to recruit a Business Development Executive to their already well-established team.Responsibilities:Generate and management of a sustainable pipeline of enquiries and contracts.Expand on their existing network of contacts to sustainably grow the business in line with the targeted expansion plans.The Business Development Executive is expected to be able and willing to work to the vision, strategy, and values of the company.They will represent the business at trade events, conferences, and exhibitions and where appropriate take the lead on making presentations and speeches.Key Accountabilities: Understand target markets and match relevant scopes of work.Regular customer focused sales contacts with Developers and Tier 1's to engage in the process and gain new targeted contracts.Pursue leads and follow through to successful agreement.Support with Pre-qualification, Compiling RFI's/ RFQ's and ITT's and following up clarifications.Experience & Qualification:Proven experience and successful career within a business development/sales environment for the offshore and onshore industries with specific experience in the Renewables sector would be beneficial.Have a strong and established network of existing contacts and relationships.Competencies:Competent in the use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent organisational skills, with emphasis on prioritising, goal setting and delivering on objectives.Ability to quickly identify opportunity.Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong negotiation and influencing skills.Consistently achieve goals and deliver on expectations to build the reputation and brand of the Group.If you would like to apply for this position send your CV to andy.murray@orioneng.com Our role in supporting diversity and inclusionAs an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.We welcome the wide range of experiences and viewpoints that potential workers bring to our business and our clients, including those based on nationality, gender, culture, educational and professional backgrounds, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, disability, and age differences, job classification and religion.In our inclusive workplace, regardless of your employment status as staff or contract, everyone is assured the right of equitable, fair and respectful treatment.
