Branch Manager (Trade/Construction)

An experienced Branch Manager is required to work with a growing business within their Newcastle based operations due to recent business growth. This exciting opportunity will report into the National Branch Manager and work closely with the Trade Counter and Warehouse team.Job Description: Managing a small team, the Branch Manager will support and develop the staff, performance and standard of the branch including all logistics and operational matters.Duties to include:Overseeing branch logistics, warehouse operations and office tasks.Managing a small team in day-to-day operations across the Trade Counter and Warehouse.Recruit and manage personnel.Support with the development and implementation of process improvements.Ensuring maximum productivity within the operations is required.Planning and organising workload through staff rotas and regular team briefs.Monitoring of picking accuracy levels.Candidate Requirements:The successful Branch Manager will have strong experience in a supervisory/ management role within Warehouse and Trade Counter operations, ideally within the Construction Industry.Strong people skills within a supervisory/managerial roleExcellent communications skills through a range of mediumsA confident organised mindset with the ability to quickly gain product knowledgeA working knowledge of Microsoft Office packagesThis role would suit people who also have the following experience: Construction Warehouse, Warehouse Manager, Trade Counter Manager, Trade Branch Manager.Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pmSalary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annumBrampton Recruitment are an independent Commercial and Accounts & Finance recruitment agency working in partnership with employers spanning Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire, and the Greater Manchester region
