Job Description To deliver a service that fully meets the requirements of all customers including patients, visitors and staff: · To ensure daily cleaning of outer areas – to include emptying all rubbish, clean hard surfaces, wood surfaces, telephones, dust skirting boards, vacuum all floor areas, mop all hard floor areas and check for cobwebs · To clean residents rooms on a daily basis – clean all surfaces, vacuum carpet, wash basin and clean toilet, empty bins, mop floor to bathroom and bed linen and towels changed · Provide big clean to any room which has required barrier nursing · Achieve cleaning tasks with appropriate thoroughness, effectiveness and urgency Accurately complete documentation associated with job role Work using processes that promote safety of others To ensure that bathrooms and bedrooms are cleaned and vacuumed, This is a bank position, to cover annual leave and sickness as and when required.
