Job Duties: The post holder will support the PDC team by providing a comprehensive technical support service to staff industry and students in the use of equipment and facilities in the PDC. The post holder will support the PDC team to develop and maintain relationships with businesses in the areas of Engineering & Product Design. Working with PDC staff and College partners, he/she will support the development and delivery of specific interventions in Engineering & Product Design. He/she will also support the PDC team to provide a high-quality service and meet its targets within budget and on time. Qualifications / Experience: EssentialA relevant* Level 5 qualification or equivalent;ANDOne year's employment experience working to include experience working in 3D CAD;ANDA minimum Level 2 qualification or module of a course at Level 2 or above in 3D CAD;ANDA current driving licence and access to a car (applicants with a disability who have been prevented from obtaining a driving licence due to their disability (as defined by the DDA 1995) are eligible to apply).*relevant defined as a qualification in the area of Technology, Manufacturing, Engineering or a Design related discipline.
