Description:Hydracrat is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team of geotechnical and exploration drillers.Regular projects will include ground investigations, water wells and geothermal. The Assistant Driller will be expected to work with the Lead Driller to ensure techniques for rotary open-hole, rotary core and borehole installations are deployed to a high standard.Suitable candidates will ideally have some relevant experience in the drilling industry, however this is not essential.Job Hours:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am – 4.30pm or as required.Pay includes hourly rate, travel time and bonuses.Additional requirements:Must have a full UK driver’s licence and access to transport to get to our premises in Cleland if required.Must be safety aware and prepared to work on strictly managed sites.Prepared to work away from home when required and undergo random drugs and alcohol testing when requested.Comfortable working in a busy environment with lifting/shifting of tools and heavy loads.Must be a comfortable working as part of a team.Experience in operating a mechanical digger and machinery may be a distinct advantage.The following qualifications are helpful but not essential: CSCS, NVQ, CPCS, NRSWA, Manual Handling, First Aid.
