A Local Authority based in Merseyside is looking for an Assistant Planning Officer to join their team. This is a full time, temporary position and the ideal candidate will have experience working for a local authority and have experience in a similar role. The purpose of the role is to deal with householder- lower grader applications and support planning officers in the local authorities area. Experience in a Planning Department to include either an administrative or support capacity, dealing with planning matters e.g. planning applications, enforcement-related matters, site histories, environmental improvement initiatives.Current full driving licence and access to a car in required.The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £13 - £14 p/hour Umbrella Ltd dependant on experience and qualifications.
