Long established heath and safety operationsBuxton / work from homeFixed term contract 2 yearsClient DetailsAn established health and safety business requires an Assistant Finance Business Partner to join the team DescriptionThis initial 24 month FTC Assistant Finance Business Partner role will be assisting with the following duties with the aim of taking ownership of these tasks over time;Financial Analysis and reportingAssisting on the formation of business casesBusiness partnering with project focused teamCost management, analysis and reductionCommentary on variancesData analysisProject AccountingManage communication with the International Shared service centre who carry out all transactional and tax duties of this UK divisionProfileThe right commercial focused Assistant Finance Business Partner will need to have the following experience, characteristics and attitude;Studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA studiesA background of at least 12 in a commercially focused finance positionsStrong accounting principles experience knowledgeProactive and with a high level of commercial acumenWilling and capable of learning with a track record of doing so having achieved academic success to dateStrong excel capability including pivot tables and vlookups as a minimumJob OfferGreat exposure in a commercially focused finance role offering experience in adding value to a fast paced corporate company with an agile working culture.
