Assistant Accountant

We have dedicated estimating, project management and installation teams and our inhouse services include design and offsite fabrication. We are particularly active in offering turnkey packages for boiler plant replacement We also offer planned and reactive service & maintenance as well as 24/7 emergency service cover. The Opportunity As part of our company’s development we are seeking a dynamic enthusiastic Account Assistant to join our team. This role would suit someone with good experience of the day to day transactional duties together with experience of assisting with Management Accounts.Job Responsibility Your main duties will include  ·        Purchase invoice processing and purchase ledger management·        Reconciling supplier statement and resolving queries·        Raising Sales invoices, processing payments and credit control·        Managing the sub-contractor application process·        Control Accounts·        Monthly Projections·        Calculating Accruals/Prepayments·        Processing timesheets·        Ad hoc duties Skills/QualificationsTo be considered for this role, you must have experience of the following: ·        Assisting with monthly management accounts production·        Accruals/Prepayments·        Posting journals·        Control Accounts·        Credit Control·        Good knowledge of Microsoft ExcelAdditional SkillsKnowledge of the Construction sector would be an advantage RemunerationWe will offer a competitive remuneration package dependent on experience (range £18-24K) , including pension contribution and 32 days holiday (including Bank Holidays).
