Assembly Workers / Production Operatives - within manufacturing/construction environment.I am recruiting for an additional 20 Assembly Workers / Production Operatives within a manufacturing/construction environment for my client based in Micheldever, Hampshire.Full training will be provided as these roles involve elements of carpentry, & painting, and use of construction power tools. These roles are initially offered on a temporary basis, and after successfully completing 3 months, permanent roles will be on offer. These 'temp to perm' positions will be commencing from May this year.Hours;07:30-16:30 Monday to Friday (42.5 hours paid weekly)Pay;£10-£11p/h (PAYE) Once you have been offered a permanent role then you will work towards goals set out on a skills matrix, which can lead to pay rises as you achieve each level of competency.Required Attributes;• Experience within a production /manufacturing environment.• An interest in DIY including being able to use hand tools such power drills, screwdrivers and paint brushes. These roles will involve elements of basic carpentry & painting for which training will be provided.• Reasonable level of fitness as you will be required to move tools and building supplies, such as plasterboard, and be able to sand down plasterboard and wooden structures.• Ability to follow Written Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, or Engineering Drawings.• Ready to prove you are reliable, hardworking and committed.• Have a strong attention to detail.• Self-motivated, flexible with a can-do attitude.• Have the flexibility in both skill and attitude to work on all aspects of the production process, including assembly and performing quality checks• Be an active Team player.• Enjoy a factory production environment and be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment such as hard hats, safety boots, high viz waistcoats, gloves, safety goggles.• Able to adapt to a busy pressurised factory environment.If you are interested in securing one of these 'temp to perm' positions with excellent training and development opportunities, and if you feel you have the required experience and skills, then I welcome your CV in the first instance…please send to tyrone.monteith@reed.comShortlisted candidates will be called to arrange initial telephone interviews around mid March so please ensure your mobile number on your CV is correct.
