Architectural TechnicianA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Technician to join a long established and well-respected architecture firm based in Aughnacloy. Our client specialises in a wide variety of residential & commercial projects offering a full architectural service from initial feasibility and appraisal, through the planning process, to design, construction and completion. This firms work is centred around sustainable designs to help clients save money and be kinder to the environment.They are now seeking to hire an Architectural Technician / Technologist who will be responsible for producing detailed high quality technical drawings from initial site surveys and planning documentation. The suitable candidate will require a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience and possess a sound knowledge of NI Building Regulations and various building construction methods. A working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit is essential for this role.The Role:Day to day you will be assisting architects within the practice on different projects, including design, detailing, working drawing/tender submissions, planning applications and building control submissions.Required Skills & Experience:Possess a minimum of 3 years post qualification experienceExcellent AutoCAD and/or Revit skills are essentialAbility to manage the day to day running of projects under the supervision of a senior team memberKnowledge & Understanding of NI Building RegulationsCapable of producing detailed drawings, construction drawings and tender packages independently.Ability to take on responsibility, meet project deadlines and work collaboratively to meet company targetsExperience in compiling and submitting Planning and Building Control ApplicationsSalary is negotiable dependent on experience and skill level. This role will be predominately office based so the ability to commute to Aughnacloy is essential, however for the right candidate a hybrid of office based and working from home will be available.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician who is looking to develop their career and work on a variety of projects within a long established and well-respected firm
