A newly created role for an Applications Engineering Manager is required to work within a global industrial manufacturing business based in West Yorkshire. This role has become available due to significant growth within the business.The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team to provide technical solutions to customer problems. You will manage a small team of Applications Engineers and be an integral part of the organisation. The role will work closely with Design to ensure that they deliver on the customer requirements. The person will assist the Design team in the conceptual design of new and existing products and ensure that the work is completed within Engineering hours allocated. You will also work closely with the Production team to ensure the products can be manufactured effectively and within the timescales agreed.
