Air Conditioning Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for an Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company at the first nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years. They improve the lives of millions of people across the UK and Ireland by creating productive, safe and smooth working environments. They support the efficient delivery of front-line services in critical environments for the private sector, national and local government agencies. This is a hands-on position where you will be required to respond to and carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive works as standard. You will be mobile across a range of HPC sites where you will diagnose faults on all types of AC systems, ranging from standard back-to-back splits, to bigger VRV/VRF and close control systems. As an Air Conditioning Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Maintaining the equipment on sites to the highest standard. Rectifying or escalating faults accordingly in a safe, effective and efficient manner. Managing your own time and deadlines within a set timeframe of actions. Coordinating the onsite CAFM system and ensuring works are closed out using detailed reporting, outlining works carried out and any further remedial actions. Delivering on PPMs and breakdown tasks within agreed SLAs. Building good and collaborative working relationships with all teams including electrical, plumbing, maintenance technicians, general duties assistant and onsite helpdesk teams. We are looking for an Air Conditioning Engineer who has the following skills and experiences:Previous experience in a similar role with relevant qualifications including F-gas. An NVQ Level 2 6087 Refrigeration Air Conditioning or equivalent. A full driving license. A passion and pride in all works carried out and a thirst to exceed within the FM sector. Good communication skills. Some experience of building and facilities maintenance is beneficial. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday between 08:00-17:00. For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
